Donor Bridge is designed for eligible charitable organizations in Canada and the United States, including many registered charities, qualified charitable organizations, foundations, faith-based organizations, educational institutions, healthcare foundations and community organizations. Eligibility and available methods are confirmed during onboarding. Do we need to manage stock transfers ourselves? Your organization needs the appropriate receiving setup for the methods it enables, but Donor Bridge is designed to guide and coordinate the donor workflow. Stock gifts move through the applicable brokerage-to-recipient process; Donor Bridge does not custody the securities. Does our organization need to hold crypto? Not necessarily. Crypto processing and settlement depend on the configuration available through the third-party provider and your organization's setup. We confirm the supported flow during onboarding. Who issues the donor's tax documentation? The recipient organization is responsible for the applicable tax documentation. In Canada that may include an official donation receipt; in the United States that may include the written acknowledgment or other substantiation required for the gift. Does Donor Bridge charge donors a service fee? Donor Bridge's commercial relationship is with the participating organization, not the donor.
